FOUR KEY REASONS WHY YOU NEED OUR DATA CENTRE SOLUTION
In our data-driven economy, downtime has really become a ‘four-letter word’.
You can’t afford to slow down because your data centre infrastructure isn’t keeping up with the increasing size and volume of data used by your business applications, systems and services.
With our Cloud Rack and Hybrid Cloud Rack hosting services, you can extend your data centre storage infrastructure without extensive setup and maintenance costs.
By connecting to one of our high-performing data centre facilities, you’ll be able to host your data and applications securely, ensuring quick access and on-demand availability, all the time.
For physical intervention on site, opt in to our 24/7 Smart Hands service.
Optimum performance for any level of demand
All our data centres have the following features to guarantee availability and uptime, and even help you maintain your productivity and sustainability targets:
Physical and virtual security are non-negotiable when it comes to data storage and cloud solutions, which is why our security measures can help you meet governance requirements for data security and protection.
Advanced access control and surveillance systems ensure that only authorised people may access our data centres. To reduce the risk of fire damage to the data centre, we use fire-suppression systems that meet international standards. In addition, the latest firewalls and network access-control systems protect the data centre from hacking and cybercrime attacks. Our expert engineers are also on site 24/7 for maintenance and support.
Choose which service best suits your requirements
Our Cloud Rack hosting solutions are designed to help you focus on what you do best while enjoying the benefits of a secure, high-performing “intelligence centre” that offers fast, reliable access to business applications, and enables cloud, unified communications and collaboration solutions.
You can choose between one of two solutions, depending on what your business and colocation requirements are.
With the Cloud Rack solution, you receive allocated space in two separate Internet Solutions data centres, which are linked with single or dual-path fibre connectivity (100 Mbps to 1 Gbps). A variety of configurations are available to suit your connectivity and rack requirements.
Connectivity is assured by multiple black fibres that access the data centre telco rooms through diverse entry points.
If you opt for the Hybrid Cloud Rack, you connect your data centre to the required number of racks in our Gauteng data centre with a layer 2 LAN extension between your on-site infrastructure and ours. Connectivity is facilitated through our fibre backbone, which is available in a variety of line speeds.
Managing the physical components of your Cloud Rack services is made easier with Smart Hands, an additional support option that gives you access to our expert engineers, 24/7.
If you need them to push a button, toggle a switch, rack new server equipment or change hardware components, they’ll act on your instruction and physically intervene on a server, switch or firewall when you aren’t able to do so yourself.
Outsourced services with set SLAs
It makes sense to outsource your data centre hardware and support to experts, rather than building and running your own data centre facility.
When the volume and complexity of services that run from the data centre expand, you can scale up your data centre services accordingly, without having to invest directly in the additional hardware, space and skills. And, by paying only for the cloud rack space and power you need, you’re better able to manage and control data centre costs.
Your IT team no longer need to be at the office to keep servers running. Remote management allows your administrators to manage and monitor servers in the data centre from wherever they are. This gives you the freedom to evolve your business into a mobile workforce, without compromising on performance.
For added peace of mind, we have service level agreements in place for availability, helping you to maintain productivity and provide for business continuity.
