  • Highly Granular Filtering: The IS Mail Filter can facilitate e-mail content filtering in a highly scalable and granular fashion; unique e-mail filtering policies can be implemented per user or user group.
  • Reporting and Monitoring: The advanced reporting structure provides high levels of transparency into the IS Mail Filter solution, enabling statistical reporting on efficiency levels. The reporting can help administrators define and amend their policies by giving a clear indication of which mail attachments are being abused and wasting bandwidth. This reporting is delivered via IS’ web base customer portal, the IS Customer Zone. All report logs are stored for 60 days and reports can be scheduled to be delivered in .pdf format via mail.
  • IS Mail Filter Quarantine: All e-mail that gets blocked via the mail firewall is quarantined for a period of 7 days, during this period these blocked messages can be released if required. In addition to this, notification systems of blocked e-mail can be set-up to notify users of blocked e-mail.
  • Economies of Scale: The IS Mail Filter environment is built to very high levels of infrastructure redundancy, this type of high availability environment is extremely expensive for a single client to deploy, involving multiple devices and technologies.
