Sales Director

Loren is currently the Sales Director for Internet Solutions in Kenya. He brings with him a wealth of experience in the Technical, Sales, Consulting and Management fields and has built his career in the ISP and VoIP industries over the last 13 years.Loren has cut his teeth in the competitive South African IT market place and has shared in the successes of companies like iBurst South Africa, Storm Voice & Data, Duxbury Networking and Telkom. He has also consulted to the management of small and medium sized businesses on change management, business process re-engineering and growth. His diverse experience and exposure to developing industries has nurtured a passion for technology and the overwhelming contribution that it makes to the lives of people, businesses and economies. Loren launched iBurst Africa in Ghana in 2008. He came to Kenya in 2009 where he now leads the charge for dominance in the corporate sector of the ICT market.

Chief Operating Officer

Collin hails from the IS South Africa Business, where he was a Solutions Architect. He has extensive knowledge gained in the IT Industry and has worked across many countries, mostly in Africa, in various roles. He is passionate about two things Africa and its economic ability to be a major contributor to the world’s economy with the other passion being process efficiencies.

Finance Manager

Mr Makani was promoted to the position of Finance Manager in August 2007 after having served as the Chief Accountant since October 2006. Prior to that, he was a Chief Accountant with Fine Spinners Ltd. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPAK) from Strathmore University, holds a Diploma in Computer Science & International Accounting Systems from Japan ARC and certificates in various Accounting Packages & IT related courses, He has a wealth of experience in both accounting and Audit, 2 years stint in an Audit firm. As a member of ICPAK, He attends Annual Budget workshops, International accounting forums and Tax & Kenya Revenue Authority updates. He has ambitions to pursue MBA.

Operations Manager

Betty has been with Internet Solutions Kenya since inception, with over 9 years experience in the industry. She has played various roles in the organisation including Marketing Manager and currently the Operations Manager. She holds a Higher National Diploma in Management Information System and a Bachelor Degree in Business Management and Leadership (BML) from the University of the Free State, South Africa.

Network Manager

Peter has been with IS Kenya as the Systems Administrator, Technical Manager, Operations Manager and is currently the Network Manager. He has extensive experience in information technology, security and networks with particular interest in virtualization, cloud computing and telecommunication infrastructure.

Escalations Manager

Denis Wafula has recently been appointed to the position of Escalation Manager after a 2 year sabbatical at Calyx Group UK as a Data Engineer. Previously worked for IS in various capacities since inception. He has extensive experience in Managed ICT services.

Service Manager

Caroline joined Internet Solutions as a Customer service representative and has since worked in various capacities from assistant Customer service manager, Customer service Coordinator and currently as the Services Manager. She holds a Masters Degree in Commerce and has diplomas in Computer designs and the French language.
